Decoding organelle and lipid metabolism to understand cancer progression and tumor–immune interactions
Our lab studies the intersection of lipid metabolism and anti-tumor immunity. We investigate how oncogenic mutations remodel tumor membrane lipids, how these changes control immune receptor trafficking and cytokine signaling, and how tumors adapt when this homeostasis is perturbed. To address these questions, we combine CRISPR functional genomics, lipidomics, and a suite of cell-type-specific organellar immunopurification tools developed in the lab, applied to genetically engineered mouse models of liver, colorectal and pancreatic cancer.
